Steering Committee
This group will develop show theme, show name, competition categories, and rules.
After August 2006, the steering committee will consist of the show committee chairs.

Challenge Committee
Administer the challenge: entry forms, deadline, hanging, info for catalog, awards, etc.

Boutique Committee
Make things to sell at show to raise funds for the guild. Administer the actual selling of items at the show.

Publicity Committee
Develop publicity materials: artwork/logo/graphics, handbills, posters, etc.; contact newspapers, magazines, etc.; send notices to other guilds.

Vendor Committee
Solicit vendors for the show. Register vendors, hospitality for vendors, communication with vendors, etc.

Quilt Registration Committee
FORMS - one person to distribute and collect; keep records of entry forms collected, communicate with entrants regarding delivery/pick up process. Set up collection process for quilts before show, return quilts after show. Coordinate with catalog chair on deadlines for receiving quilts, for entry of description info into catalog.

Hospitality Committee
Runs Admissions at show (ticket sales, handing out show catalogs), runs white glove hostess crew, comment/guest book , set up of lobby/entry area, makes and hangs signs inside and outside show, administers voting for viewers' choice. Maintains quality of restrooms (alert janitor if paper supplies low, etc.). Chairman is in charge of staffing for show.

Display Committee
Plan layout in advance of show, arrange for PROPS and display stands. Hang show/take down show. Coordinate with catalog and registration, signs next to each quilt should match what is in catalog. Establishes space allocated to vendors, educational exhibits, demonstrations, etc. Returns props. Chairman is responsible for scheduling staff for put up and clean up operations.

Judging Committee
Choose judges. Provide hospitality for judges. Coordinate with desplay committee for judging times, etc. Provide prizes/ribbons for winners.

Children's Area Committee
Decide what to do and administer it. Suggestions: children's room, special children's display, "treasure" hunt.

Printed Catalog/Program Committee
Prepare printed program for distribution at show. List quilts, rules, categores. ADS- an assistant to the Catalog editor should be responsible for selling advertising for catalog to help defray cost of printing it.

Demonstrations during show?
Someone to coordinate speaker/workshops to be held in conjunction with the show.

Artist and Vendor Reception Committee
Send out invitations; organize refreshments.

Raffle Chairperson
Organize raffle project/obtain raffle prizes(s), obtain raffle permit, get raffle tickets printed, organize sale of raffle tickets.
