Interest Groups & Weekly Friendship Groups
Beginning QuiltingFor information about beginning quilting classes offered to Guild members, contact Nancy Silverman at 238-5122 or by email. Fabric Dying The Guild owns a box of dyes that are available for member use. Just pay for the dyes you used. No formal group exists at this time. For more information, call LaVaovne Weaver at 466-7152. Hearts & Hands The CPQG community service quilt projects are coordinated by the Hearts & Hands committee. They will select worthy projects for the year and inform the guild at large about how to participate. For more information call Chris Miller or check our website. This year children's quilts will be made and collected for Comfort Covers. Most of these groups meet weekly to provide members with an opportunity to socialize, work on your own projects, trade ideas & books, and even arrange/take field trips (aka fabric buying expeditions!). Many of these groups meet in members' homes so space may be limited. Centre Pieces encourages members to form new friendship or interest groups when the need and inclination arise. Back to menu |
