Nancy Silverman will walk us through her quilted forest of trees. Show and tell focus on nature but you are welcome to bring any pretty you want us to gush over. The Wednesday meetings are being held at the YMCA in State College. The room is on the far side of the open area as you enter, overlooking the pool. Meetings run from 1 - 3 PM. Show & Tell is welcome and this informal setup is another great opportunity to interact in person with your fellow quilters.
Join us on March 8 for our regular Tuesday night meeting by Zoom at 6:30 for social and 7 PM for our program. Sue Glass will demonstrate how to use
the prepared edge method of applique to achieve those lovely round circles and
edges common in her work. Her lecture includes information on and
demonstration of how to prepare your project, make the extra items like bias
stems and circles, the use of different basting techniques, and how to set up

Our Zoom trip to the Philippines has been rescheduled for March 15th. Come and join us for a guided tour by Dana Jones to Caohagan Island in the Philippines for a trunk show of their unique culture of quilting. Social starts at 6:30 with presentation at 7 PM.
