Wednesday Meeting - October 18th - Fabric Designers

For the Wednesday afternoon presentation BarbZ and BeckyT would encourage any attendees to bring show and tell of any quilted items they have created from a particular designer or that involves a fabric collection from any era.

In the meantime, check your selvage information from your stash… we will have some questions for you!! Anyone have any poppies or striped clothing or dishes from the Marimekko design line?? If so, let Barb Zeger or Becky Trunzo know. Hope you come… it should be fun and helpful when you shop Scraps and Skeins or any quilt store.

Meeting begins at 1 PM at Pine Hall Lutheran Church on W College Avenue.

Tueday Evening Meeting - The Great UFO Reveal - September 12

Tuesday, September 12 at Blue Course Community Church.  Social time starts at 6:30 with the meeting starting a 7 PM.  UFO = Unfinished Fabric Object

You challenged yourself to reach a goal. Bring your finished projects to reveal. Will the “Kitty” return your $5.00 entry fee for completing the task you signed up for, or will your $5.00 go into the Guild's “Kitty” if you just couldn't find the time to reach your goal? No judgment here.

Strip Poker...Well, kind of... but you don't need to layer up with extra clothing or bring money. Bring 4 WOF 2 1/2” strips of Winter holiday themed fabric to play with. (We will have some WOF strips to share if you don't have those fabrics or forget yours) A few lucky winners will take home a collection of fabric strips ready to turn into gifts. (Judy Ray's “Hidden Wells” technique would be a great way to use them!)

Show and Tell...Incentive to get a project or two completed!
