Join us as we assemble some charity quilt backs from orphan blocks, larges rectangles, and leftovers. We need sewing machines, a few irons and cutting boards, and lots of design ideas that come to you as you see what is on offer. Work alone or in a group. Many hands make light work and the results are always interesting!

We spread out all over the small gym at the Y. We used the floor as our design wall as teams of 2 or 3 chose orphan blocks and selections of donated fabric to build 50"x 60"quilt backs. If you have a WOMBAT (Waste Of Money and Batting) or just a UFO that might match the size of one of these that you would like to donate, please see LenoreC. 11 quit backs finished, 50”x 60”-ish; many people went home with almost-dones and some people even went home with a pile of fabric to continue the scrappy fun..
