Amish Mud Sales

It's not too early to plan a get-away to Lancaster County, where it will soon be time to pull on your boots and head on out to some MUD SALES!
Check out this year's calendar...
What are mud sales? They are auctions held by local Lancaster County Fire Companies that raise much of the funding needed for throughout the year. They are a unique yearly event for our community, bringing Amish, Mennonite, and English (the Amish term for non-Amish folks) together for a fun "fair" type of atmosphere. Mud sales start in the late winter and continue all through the spring...some are even held in the summer. They feature many different items for sale- including tools, antiques, farm equipment, homemade quilts, crafts, and much more!! Make sure you come hungry, because there is LOTS of homemade PA Dutch goodies for sale.
