Machine Embroidery Group Meeting

    Interested in Machine Embroidery?  Come join the group meeting on the 3rd Friday of every month at the Blue Course Community Church, 1243 Blue Course Drive, State College.  This is in addition to our regular UFO Fridays.  Learn about stabilizers, embroidery applique technique, making projects with embroidery motifs. Bring your embroidery machine, hoop, material, and a pattern of your choice. It’s always a good idea to have your machine manual with you.

Wednesday Daytime Meeting - April 19th - New Location

 We will be meeting at a new location for our Wednesday meeting.  We will be at the Patton Township Building, 100 Patton Plaza off Green Tech Drive.  Join us for a Jelly Roll Jam at 1 PM.

Tuesday Evening Meeting - April 11 - Brita Nelson - Every Last Crumb, An Adventure in Scrap Quilting

    Come join us IN PERSON for a date with Brita Nelson, The Questioning Quilter, as she explains how to handle that mountain of left-over scraps from your prior projects.   

    We will be at the Blue Course Community Church, 1243 Blue Course Drive, State College, starting with some social time at 6:30 PM with the meeting beginning at 7 PM.  Bring your Sew & Tell so we can see what you've been up to!

BRITA NELSON WORKSHOP “3D Lattice – 6 hours (9:00-3:00) From her website “This eye-catching optical illusion quilt is easier than you think. Using either scraps or yardage we will turn 1 ½” strips into beautiful light and dark diamonds.  You will assemble these diamonds into a wall hanging that will impress your friends and family. I will teach you how to create this masterpiece without difficult Y or partial seams.”
