Challenge 2024/2025

Becky S
The annual guild picnic on Tuesday was a success of gigantic proportion! There was so much yummy food, great conversation, a visit from the 'kitty', and, of course, the unveiling of our completed challenge quilts!  Check out the quilts and their makers below. Voting was fierce for the best challenge quilt with coins being tossed this way and that! Congratulations Peggy R for first place, Zak K for second place, and Lenore for the third place. So much beautiful eye candy here! And thank you Zak, for the challenge!

Summer UFO Challenge

We will be having our summer UFO challenge again this year.  Pick your favorite, least favorite, oldest, or a project that needs some motivation to GET ‘ER DONE. Sign your project contract and put $5 in the Kitty at your next meeting. She’ll hold it until the September day and evening meetings. If you fulfil your contract and show your project at one of these meetings Kitty will return your money back. If it’s still a UFO, she’ll give your $5 to the program committee. She realizes belatedly (now that her eyes are getting old) that she needs to attend both meetings.

June Picnic - Tuesday June 10th - Blue Course Community Church

We are having our annual Picnic at Blue Course Community Church (rain or shine - it's inside) starting at 5:30 PM.  The event will be catered (wraps, croissants, chips, salads, dessert).  Feel free to bring your own food and beverage as dietary restrictions require.

Bring your nametag, Challenge Quilt, and other Sew & Tell.

Bring your dues if you've not yet paid:  Adult $35 / Student $10 / Professional $15.  Cash or check payable to Centre Pieces Quilt Guild.  Your checks will not be cashed until July 1 to keep the Treasurer's books clean and easy.  If your contact information has changed, please include a membership form.
