Be a part of your guild! Help with Comfort Covers Collection!

Tuesday, April 28 - 9:30am at St. Johns Church in Boalsburg

This is an easy way to volunteer for a guild activity.  Just a morning or part of a morning commitment.

Comfort Cover Collection Day

☐ 9:30 Setup  

•  Table set up
•  5 tables, and 15 chairs:
• 1 table for intake,
• 2 tables labeled 'Distribution'
• 2 tables for measuring quilts.
•  Label tables/walls/chairs with green posters of recipients

☐ 9:30 Intake of donations (2-4 people needed)

• Check donations for labels
• Measure items if it hasn’t been sized
• Apply label, noting on label size of item

☐ 10:00 Distribute donations to chairs (2-3 people)

• Note what the facility has requested from the green poster.

☐ 10:45 Tally of outgoing items (2 people)

•  Count type and number of items being sent to each facility.
•  Record on distribution sheet

☐ 11:00 Deliver Comfort Covers (up to 15 people)

•  Make sure your bags have a packing slip in it
•  Deliveries suggested the same week. 
•  Notify coordinator of any comments, questions from the facility.
