Recap: CPQG Annual Picnic

 What a great night! Beautiful quilts, friendly quilters, and yummy food! Here are some of the highlights including our 'Challenge' reveal!

Mona presented outgoing co-president Lenore with Friendship Blocks from the guild.

Becky M’s flamingo panel quilt was much admired by attendees at the Memorial Day exhibit at St. John’s church in Boalsburg.
2026 Challenge projects!
Sue Y made bags and a small quilt with bright pictures for her daughter-in-law to use with her students.

Joyce added pockets to the back of her Fool’s Puzzle challenge quilt for carrying sewing supplies.

Carrie made her Card Trick block with rectangles instead of triangles.

Lenore adapted the Falling Star block to make the Big and Little Dippers.

Becky S interpreted the Delectable Mountains block.

Rachel made Cathedral Window blocks in a Halloween theme and dressed accordingly!

Becky T made Witch’s Night Out and added the shoes.

Nancy’s Children’s Delight kept growing!

Ann honored breast cancer awareness with Star of Hearts.

Lynn’s pillows started with the House Block.

Barbara’s Northern Star quilt included some embroidered stars.

Leslie’s LeMoyne Star…

Peggy finished a quilt that Viola had started and presented it to her family.
