Toys for Tots

Thank you to each and every member who donated batting, material and time to make doll and infant quilts for Toys For Tots. The workshop was a success with 38 items made or donated that day. We have received approximately 100 quilts to date and will update the final count for the membership in the next newsletter. Please continue to keep this group project going by thinking of Toys for Tots throughout the year.

Toys for Tots Workshop

A  doll quilt workshop is planned for  Tuesday, October 22nd, 2019 at St. John UCC Boalsburg from 9:30 a.m. till noon. Donations of large yardage materials 28” square, 40 “ square and 40” x 64” are needed (no scraps please). We will be using this donated material to make kits that will include batting for the workshop. Donations may be given to Jill Wisniewski or Debbie Barrick any Tuesday at QBs or give us a call and we’d be glad to pick up your donation.
Please bring your sewing machine with a walking foot and basic sewing supplies. Neutral thread is preferred.  Or, just come.  We will have plenty of non-sewing tasks that speed our output.
